KHUSHAB: Commander of a proscribed outfit has been shot dead during a police operation here. According to media reports, police had conducted an operation, on a tip-off, and gunned down a commander of a banned outfit while his two accomplices had escaped from the scene.
The commander killed in the operation was identified as Younus who was also stated to be involved in the killing of a police official. Arms and suicide jackets were also recovered by police from the possession of dead commander. The terrorists had also evolved a plan to commit subversive activities in the city during the holy month of Ramazan.
