TAKHTBHAI: Awami National Party Provincial Chief and former chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, blasted the PTI-led provincial government for shelving projects initiated during the previous government. Talking to ANP workers at his residence in Mardan, Ameer Haider Hoti said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) had deceived the Pakhtuns. He added that the PTI leadership had promised to launch development projects in the province, which were yet to be started. “The PTI-led government has pushed the province towards bankruptcy as development funds are being lapsed,” the former chief minister maintained. He said that some of the projects launched during his government were scheduled to be completed in 2014. “Such vital projects had not yet been completed as the government is reluctant to release the funds,” he added. He asked the party workers to set aside their personal differences and work for the reorganisation of the party. The ANP leader said that his government had to face terrorism, floods and other disasters but at the same time it undertook several major projects.
