KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that decisions in his party are made through collective consultations in the greater interests of the masses and the party leadership will take all the workers and ‘jiyalas’ onboard in the decision-making process.
Bilawal said that there was no match to the PPP in struggle, sacrifices and performance for restoration and strengthening democracy and protection of the rights of downtrodden and barefoot masses. Referring to a recent reports in the media, the PPP chairman said that his father and he himself are working like a well-integrated team and history records that former president Asif Ali Zardari has always enjoyed a great respect among the masses and workers for his brave struggle and steadfastness during imprisonments.
Wisdom and sagacity displayed by him in the aftermath of martyrdom of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and the way he put democracy on track has proved him to be a giant asset for the party and the entire country, Bilawal remarked. He further added that changes in the organisation remain a continuous exercise and all such decisions would be made through mutual consent and consultation within the party, as both the old and young faces would work together for the emancipation of the people from poverty, illiteracy, extremism and terrorism.
