ISLAMABAD: A full dress rehearsal for Pakistan Day parade is underway at Shakarparian Ground in the federal capital.
In the rehearsal for March 23 parade, contingents of the Pakistan Armed Forces are taking part.
Due to the rehearsal, mobile phone services will remained suspended from 6:00AM to 1:00PM in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Traffic plan for March 23 and rehearsal days has been released by Islamabad traffic police. Moreover, route from Zero Point to Faizabad will remain closed every day from 6:00AM to 1:00PM.
Three international forces will participate in the parade this year. Inter-Services Public Relation(ISPR) said that People’s Liberation Army (PLA) China’s Tri-Services and Saudi Special Force’s contingents and Turkish Janissary Military band (Mehteran) are set to be a part of this parade.
Moreover, South African National Defence Force Chief, General Solly Zacharia Shoke will also witness the parade.
