ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will conduct by-polls on the provincial assembly seats, PS-106, PS-117 and PS-22 on Thursday.
Out of three, two seats in Karachi, had become vacant after lawmakers from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Iftikhar Alam and Dr Sagheer Ahmed, resigned to join Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) of former MQM leader Mustafa Kamal. Meanwhile, the ECP has finalised all security arrangements to ensure peaceful elections.
