JACOBABAD: Four people were killed during armed clash between two tribes Qambrani and Thahim over a property dispute within the jurisdiction of Maula Dad police station in Khan Chachar. Sources said that two tribes including Qambrani and Taheem had developed dispute over property since some times before and the armed men from both sides had taken position against each other in trenches. The clash started in Friday morning when one group opened firing onto other. In retaliatory firing four people were killed while one was injured. Police said that among the deceased one belonged to Qambrani tribe while three others of Thaheem tribe. Tension prevails in the area and sporadic firing is continuing. Heavy reinforcement of police has been called out from other districts to control the situation.
